This specimen was lot 22724 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Anaheim, CA, August 2016), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 2 Escudos, 1860-GoPF. PCGS AU-55 Secure Holder. Fr-93; KM-380.5. The date should be closely scrutinized as there appears to be an underdate of some type whether it is a 60/50 or 60/59, PCGS declined to make either distinction on the slab tag. A very attractive example with considerable original luster, some light adjustment marks and light toning in the fields."
