This specimen was lot 31311 in Heritage sale 3041 (Chicago, August 2015), where it sold for $646.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "Charles IV gold 4 Escudos 1793 Mo-FM VF35 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM 144, Cal-213. With typical surface abrasions and some softness to the strike, this lightly-golden coin is seldom offered at any level, and this is currently the only certified example of this date. From The Rudman Collection of Mexican Coins."
