This specimen was lot 710 in Aureo sale 269 (Barcelona, July 2015), where it sold for €1,000 (about US$1,292 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"1846. México. Guadalupe y Calvo. MP. 8 escudos. (Fr. 71) (Kr. 383.6) (Cal.Onza 1922). AU. Acuñación floja en reverso. Bonito color. Ex Colección Caballero de las Yndias, nº 483. Escasa. 26,86 g. MBC+. (Mexico, eight escudos of 1846, Guadalupe y Calvo mint, weak strike on reverse, good color, from the Caballero de las Yndias collection, good very fine.)"
