This specimen was lot 3685 in Künker sale 294 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €2,400 (about US$3,235 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"LÜBECK, STADT, Dukat 1727, mit dem Abzeichen des Bürgermeisters Adolph Matthäus Rodde. 3,48 g. Behrens 636; Fr-1486. GOLD. R Sehr attraktives Exemplar, kl. Schrötlingsfehler am Rand, vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. (city of Lubeck, ducat of 1727, with the badge of mayor Adolph Matthäus Rodde. Scarce, very attractive example, small defect on edge, extremely fine to uncirculated.)"
