This specimen was lot 2246 in Sincona sale 33 (Zurich, October 2016), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"Lauenburg, Herzogtum, August von Sachsen 1619-1656 Taler 1624. Lauenburg 28.06 g. Sehr schön-vorzüglich, Herrliche Patina. (duchy of Lauenburg, Augustus of Saxony (1619-56), thaler of 1624, Lauenburg mint. Very fine-extremely fine, Most attractive patina.)"
KM 62, Dorfmann 86 a. Dav-7344, 29 g, silver, struck 1620-24. VF $1,000-cheapest thaler of the seventeenth c. Saxe-Lauenburg extinct 1685.
