This specimen was lot 23215 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "JAMAICA. Penny, 1950. NGC PROOF-65. KM-35. Carefully produced and preserved with bright yellow surfaces as a result of the nickel-brass composition that are lightly toned, displaying a trace of reddish color beneath the king's bust. Very elusive in this proof format and especially desirable as a Gem."

m. 600,000 plus proofs, also struck 1952. struck in copper-nickel until 1928; converted to nickel brass in 1937; series ended 1969.
