This specimen was lot 557 in Classical Numismatic Group's sale of the Lissner Collection (Chicago, July 2014), where it sold for $__. The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALY, Regno d'Italia (Napoleonic). Napoleon I. 1805-1814. AR 5 Lire (37mm, 25.00 g, 6h). Milano (Milan) mint; differenti: pomegranate and inverted cup. Luigi Manfredini, engraver general. Dated 1812 M. Large letters. KM 10.4; C 10; Mont 226. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 65. Gem UNC with just a hint of light toning splashed across the coin. The only 5 Lire of Napoleon ever graded. A true wonder coin. Purchased from Frank Lapa, February 1971."
