This specimen was lot 518 in Classical Numismatic Group's sale of the Lissner Collection (Chicago, July 2014), where it sold for $__. The catalog description[1] noted, "IRAN, Pahlavis. Reza Shah. AH 1344-1360 / AD 1925-1941. Specimen AR 5 Krans (35mm, 23.03 g, 6h). Dated AH 1306 (AD 1927/8). KM 1106; Davenport 294. In NGC encapsulation graded SP 64. Beautiful prooflike surfaces with mottled toning. A spectacular coin."
