This specimen was lot 30222 in Heritage sale 3042 (Long Beach, September 2015), where it sold for $1,703.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "Holland. Provincial Ducaton (Silver Rider) 1775 MS62 NGC, KM90.2, Dav-1827. A broad and pleasing specimen featuring the emblematic motif of an armored knight on horseback with crowned arms below. This well-preserved example presents an excellent strike and surfaces that are lightly canvassed in a champagne patina. Most interesting and highly-collectible in this Mint State designation."
