This specimen was lot 1129 in Jean Elsen sale 115 (Brussels, December 2012) where it sold for €___ (about US$___ including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"NEDERLAND, HOLLAND, Graafschap, Philips II (1555-1581), AR Philipsdaalder, 1557, Dordrecht. Met titel van koning van Engeland. Droit: Geharnast bb. l. PHILIPPVS in de legende. Revers: Gekroond wapenschild op een Bourgondisch kruis tussen twee vuurijzers. Ref.: G.H., 210-11b; Delm., 40; CNM 2.28.12. 33,90g. Mooie patina. Ex HSA 1428. Zeer Fraai. (county of Holland, Philip II (1555-81), silver daalder/écu of 1557, Dordrecht mint, with the title of king of England. Obverse: armored bust to left; reverse: crowned arms over a Burgundian cross between two jewels. Nice patina, very fine.)"
