This specimen was lot 2232 in Sincona sale 33 (Zurich, October 2016), where it sold for 1,500 CHF (about US$1,781 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Hessen-Kassel, Landgrafschaft, Wilhelm V. 1627-1637 Taler 1628. Weidenbaumtaler. 29.32 g. Sehr schön-vorzüglich, Hübsche Patina. (landgraviate of Hesse-Cassel, William V, 1627-37, "palm tree" thaler of 1628. Very fine-extremely fine, Attractive patina.)"
Schütz 747.1. Dav-6736, KM 98.2, issued 1627-TS, 1628-TS and 1629-TS. Scarce but not rare.
