This specimen was lot 2305 in Sincona sale 51 (Zurich, October 2018), where it sold for 800 CHF (about US$965 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Hessen-Darmstadt, Landgrafschaft, Ludwig VIII. 1739-1768. Dukat o. J. (um 1750), Darmstadt. Sogenannter Hirschdukat. Stempel von Conrad Heinrich Küchler 3.34 g. Schütz 3130. Hoffmeister 3921. Fr-1225. Selten. Fast sehr schön. Fassungsspuren. (landgraviate of Hesse-Darmstadt, Louis VIII, 1739-68, undated ducat, Darmstadt mint, the so-called "stag" ducat. Rare, About very fine, Traces of mounting.)"
doesn't seem to be in the SCWC. probably a medal.
