This specimen was lot 21066 in Heritage sale 3021 (New York, January 2013), where it sold for $2,820. The catalog description[1] noted, "Edward VII Halfcrown 1907, S-3980, KM802, MS65 PCGS, tiny ticks in the silver under bright, dappled iridescent gold toning, with an extraordinary, bold strike, fully lustrous, really rare in this superior quality -- most of the silver coins of this reign are heavily abraded, which occurred during minting and in storage.
