This specimen was lot 2743 in Sincona sale 33 (Zurich, October 2016), where it sold for 2,200 CHF (about US$2,612 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"GOLDKÜSTE | British Outpost 1750-1874. Georg III. 1760-1820 1/2 Ackey 1818. 7.00 g. KM 8. Sehr selten. Polierte Platte. FDC. Hübsche Patina. (Gold Coast station, British colony, 1750-1874, George III, 1760-1820, half ackey of 1818. Very rare, proof, Attractive patina.)"
