This specimen was lot 22435 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $240. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. 3 Mark, 1927-A. Berlin Mint. PCGS PROOF-64 Secure Holder. KM-52; J-327. Struck to commemorate the 1,000th anniversary of the founding of Nordhausen. Deep reflectivity exists in the fields with olive golden tone atop the obverse and reverse."
15 g, .500 fine silver, 30 mm diameter, m. 100,000 plus proofs. a better type. sold for 1/3 catalog.
