This specimen was lot 2420 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), where it sold for $7,637.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "GAMBIA. 1,000 Dalasis, 1996. NGC PROOF-69 ULTRA CAMEO. Fr-7a; KM-69. Mintage of only 99 pieces. Depicting lion, lioness and cub."
