This specimen was lot 1650 in Sincona sale 47 (Zurich, May 2018), where it sold for 1,100 CHF (about US$1,320 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"FRANKREICH, Konigreich, Louis XIV. 1643-1715. 1/4 Ecu 1646, Marseilles. 9.60 g. Gadoury 136. Selten. Gutes sehr schön. Flaue Stellen. (kingdom of France, Louis XIV, 1643-1715, quarter écu of 1646, Marseilles mint. Rare, Good very fine, Some weakly struck areas.)"
