This specimen was lot 1863 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €2,800 (about US$3,774 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"FRANKREICH, KÖNIGREICH, Louis XV, 1715-1774. Ecu de France 1724, V, Troyes. Réformation. Dav-1328; Duplessy 1665; Gadoury 319. Prachtexemplar. Justiert, fast Stempelglanz. (kingdom of France, Louis XV, 1715-74, écu of France of 1724, Troyes mint, reformed. Prooflike, adjustment marks, about uncirculated.)"

Dr/4 no. 817, écu au grand écusson de France. m. 60,714 fn (scarce) + 66,654 of the écu aux 8 L (very rare).
