This specimen was lot 1449 in Jean Elsen sale 141 (Brussels, June 2019), where it sold for €440 (about US$583 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"FRANCE, Royaume, Louis XV (1715-1774), AV louis d'or au bandeau, 1748X, Amiens. D/ T. à g., ceinte d'un bandeau. R/ Ecus ovales de France et de Navarre sous une couronne. Dupl-1643; Gad-341. 8,14 g Rare Frappe faible. Coin de droit rouillé. Très Beau. (kingdom of [[France], Louis XV, 1715-74, gold louis of the ribbon of 1748, Amiens mint. Obverse: head left, hair tied in a ribbon; reverse: oval arms of France and Navarre below a crown. Rare, weak strike, Very Fine.)"
