This specimen was lot 443 in Classical Numismatic Group's sale of the Lissner Collection (Chicago, July 2014), where it sold for $__. The catalog description[1] noted, "FRANCE, Troisième République. 1870-1940. NI 10 Centimes (21mm, 3.99 g, 6h). Paris mint; différents: cornucopia and torch. Henri-Auguste Patey, engraver general. Régie des Monnaies, directors. Dated 1914. VG 285; KM 866. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 66 WINGS APPROVED. Gem brilliant uncirculated. Extremely rare type struck in only pure, magnetic nickel. One of the rarest 20th century French coins."
