This specimen was lot 438 in Classical Numismatic Group's sale of the Lissner Collection (Chicago, August 2014), where it sold for $133.10. The catalog description[1] noted, "FRANCE, Le Gouvernement de la Défense Nationale. 1870-1871. AR 2 Francs (26mm, 10.02 g, 6h). Paris mint; différents: bee and anchor. Désiré-Albert Barre, engraver general. Renouard de Bussière, director. Dated 1871 A. Large A variety. In NGC encapsulation graded UNC DETAILS/Surface Hairlines. Nice deeply toned uncirculated with minor hairlines on reverse."

VG 530; KM 817.1, F.265/3. mintage 4,709,003. small "A" sl. better.
