This specimen was lot 391 in Classical Numismatic Group's sale of the Lissner Collection (Chicago, August 2014), where it sold for $847. The catalog description[1] noted, "FRANCE, Royal (Restored). Louis Philippe. 1830-1848. AR Franc (22 mm, 5.05 g, 6h). Lille mint; différents: caduceus and star. Nicolas-Pierre Tiolier, engraver general. Alexandre Beaussier, director. Dated 1831 W. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 64. Choice lustrous BU with just a touch of patina. Very nice specimen and very pleasing to the eye. Purchased from Richard Margolis, June 1975."
