This specimen was lot 24564 in Heritage sale 3026 (Long Beach, October 2013), where it sold for $1,527.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Charles X 2 Francs 1828-K, KM 725.7, MS65 NGC, Bordeaux Mint, a choice and fully original example with rich cabinet patina. Rarely seen in this select grade. Better than the up-to-now finest known MS63, listed, and pictured, on the web site of CGB (the publisher of the catalogue LeFranc, in their Collection Ideale."
