This specimen was lot 30953 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Elizabeth I (1558-1603) gold 1/4 Angel 1584-86 AU53 NGC, London mint, Sixth issue, Escallop mm, S-2533, North-2007 (R). St. Michael slaying dragon/square-topped shield within ship, mast dividing E and rose. An attractive specimen, slightly double-struck but otherwise sharp with full detail present. Richly colored with original surfaces, a slight tinge of red just beginning to emerge within the legend; a very rare denomination and even more so in this appealing certification."

Fr-213, fifth issue per Friedberg.
