This specimen was lot 71318, in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, October 2019), where it sold for $1,020. The catalog description[1] noted, "DOMINICA. 300 Dollars, 1978-RCM. Ottawa Mint. PCGS MS-67 Gold Shield. Fr-1; KM-15.2. Mintage: 18. Commemorating independence from the United Kingdom, this VERY RARE offering exhibits a tremendously brilliant planchet and full Gem surfaces. Of no surprise, this specimen is the finest which PCGS has certified, and will assuredly fit nicely into the cabinet of a 20th century gold connoisseur."
