This specimen was lot 32661 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $456. The catalog description[1] noted, "Republic gold 2 Colones 1916-(P) MS63 NGC, Philadelphia mint, KM 139. A scarce date with a mintage of only 5,000, choice for the assigned grade. It is noted that an MS64 example sold in our April 2017 auction, one year ago, for $1,880 (including buyer's premium)."
1.56 g, .900 fine gold, m. 5,000.
