This specimen was lot 42021 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $144. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. 1873-M 5 Decimos. Medellín mint. Restrepo 297.1. AU-50 (PCGS). Obverse with smaller head, after Barre. Attractive silver gray with some luster and spare toning highlights of gold and bright blue. Some light hairlines are noted. This type produces a far better central strike than previous designs of this denomination. While Restrepo terms this issue only "scarce," Burnett knew of only one example of the 1873-M 5 Decimos with the Barre head. From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Coins."

12.5 g, .835 fine silver, m. 90,000 including KM 153.3 (different head), better date of type struck 1873-75. KM 153.4.
