This specimen was lot 1389 in Classical Numismatic Group's sale of the Lissner Collection (Chicago, August 2014), where it sold for $1,149.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "CHILE, Republic. 1818-present. AR 50 Centavos. Santiago mint. Dated 1862 So. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 63. Very choice brilliant uncirculated with full luster. First year of the type and quite scarce in Mint State. Ex H. Christensen 82 (10 December 1982), lot 776."
KM 134; Y 17. mtg 123,000 (including KM 128). 12.5 g, 900 fine silver, this specimen 30 mm, 12.50 g, 6h axis. struck 1862-67.
