This specimen was lot 29504 in Heritage sale 3040 (Long Beach, April 2015), where it sold for $881.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "British Colony 1/48 Rixdollar Mule 1802 AU50 Brown NGC, Pr-261. An admirable, chestnut-toned mule featuring a reverse design that depicts the emblematic elephant of Ceylon and the obverse design of an East India Company Madras 20 Cash. A lovely selection from this popular British Colony with minimal wear and a soft central strike."
