This specimen was lot 42407 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2019), where it sold for $240. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. 2 Dollars, 2000. ANACS PROOF-68 HEAVY CAMEO. KM-399a. A visually captivating bi-metallic issue (largely comprised of gold and silver), illustrating a mother and her two cubs as a representation of the transfer of knowledge from older generations to younger ones. .1858 oz AGW."

KM 399: 7.30 g, base metal, m. 1,500 ("toonie"). KM 399a: 8.52 g, 28 mm diameter, silver/gold, m. 39,768. KM 399b: 6.31 g, gold, m. 5,881. also regular KM 270.
