This specimen was lot 29460 in Heritage sale 3042 (Long Beach, September 2015), where it sold for $517. The catalog description[1] noted, "Victoria 5 Cents 1901 MS64+ PCGS, London mint, KM2. The final year from the Victoria series, this specimen features a lustrous, mottled patination pattern in delightful shades of steel gray and deep purple. A small wisp on the queen's neck prevents the gem designation, but blends nicely into the surrounding tone. An altogether choice and fully original offering. Ex. Landon Collection."
