This specimen was lot 1074 in Stack's Bowers 2017 NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), where it sold for €705. The catalog description[1] noted, "COSTA RICA. Banco Internacional De Costa Rica. 10 Colones, 1935. P-181. Choice Fine. Another scarce Costa Rican note, this one being in issued form. Toning and staining is seen, but that is to be expected in this grade. This piece still retains its pertinent detail and displays pleasing eye appeal."
