This specimen was lot 24681 in Heritage sale 3026 (Long Beach, October 2013), where it sold for $940. The catalog description[1] noted, "Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel. August II Taler 1635-66, Dav-6358 var (Insert incorrectly attributes coin to Dav-6357), VF35 PCGS. The varieties on this example are the inner border and legend on the obverse (matching Dav-6360), the addition of a small bow on the shoulder, and the clouds and shoreline on the reverse. Lightly toned and very unusual."
