This specimen was lot 696 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €220 (about US$297 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRAUNSCHWEIG UND LÜNEBURG, BRAUNSCHWEIG-WOLFENBÜTTEL, HERZOGTUM Georg II. 1727-1760. 1/3 Taler (12 Mariengroschen) 1752, Zellerfeld. Welter 2600. Vorzüglich. (duchies of Brunswick-Luneburg and Brunswick Wolfenbuttel, George II, 1727-60, one third thaler (12 mariengroschen) of 1752, Zellerfeld mint. Extremely fine.)"
in SCWC as 1/3 thaler. KM 255, struck 1737-60, common.
