This specimen was lot 677 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €180 (about US$243 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRAUNSCHWEIG UND LÜNEBURG, BRAUNSCHWEIG-WOLFENBÜTTEL, HERZOGTUM Georg I. Ludwig, als Georg I. König von Großbritannien, 1714-1727. 2/3 Taler 1716, Clausthal. Dav. 425; Welter 2240. Hübsche Patina, sehr schön. (duchies of Brunswick-Luneburg and Brunswick Wolfenbuttel, George Louis as George I, king of Great Britain, 1714-27, two-thirds thaler of 1716, Clausthal mint. Handsome patina, very fine.)"
