This specimen was lot 587 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €280 (about US$377 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRAUNSCHWEIG UND LÜNEBURG, BRAUNSCHWEIG-WOLFENBÜTTEL, HERZOGTUM Julius Ernst, 1598-1636. Reichstaler 1625, Scharnebeck. Dav-6427; Welter 704. RR Prägeschwäche, Kratzer, fast sehr schön. Exemplar der Auktion Fritz Rudolf Künker 154, Osnabrück 2009, Nr. 402. (duchies of Brunswick-Luneburg and Brunswick Wolfenbuttel, Julius Ernest, 1598-1636, thaler of 1625, Scharnebeck mint. Rare, weaky struck, cracks, about very fine.)"
