This specimen was lot 291 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €80 (about US$108 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRANDENBURG IN FRANKEN. Christian Friedrich Karl Alexander, 1757-1791. 2 1/2 Kreuzer 1779, Schwabach. Münzmeister Peter Anton Kolb. Mit Brustbild auf der Vorderseite und Punkten in der Umschrift, die Rückseitenumschrift mit CONVENTIONS LAND MVNZ Ü 1779. Slg. Wilm. 1137; Slg. Grüber (Auktion Künker 267) 4747. R Vorzüglich. (margraviate of Brandenburg-Ansbach, Christian Frederick Charles Alexander, 1757-91, 2½ kreuzer of 1779, Schwabach mint. Scarce, extremely fine.)"
