This specimen was lot 990 in Jean Elsen sale 135 (Brussels, December 2017), where it sold for €650 (about US$900 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRABANT, Duché, Charles II (1665-1700), AR ducaton, 1668, Anvers. Premier type. D/ B. enfantin à d. R/ Ecu couronné, tenu par deux lions. En dessous, le bijou de la Toison d'or. G.H. 348-1a; Delm. 325; W. 1052. 32,47 g Exemplaire attrayant et bien frappé, sur flan large. Belle patine. Rare dans cet état. presque Superbe. (duchy of Brabant, Charles II, 1665-1700, silver ducaton of 1668,Antwerp mint, first type. Obverse: infant bust to right; reverse: crowned arms supported by two lions, jewel of the Golden Fleece below. Attractive example struck on a large flan. Nice patina, rare in this condition, about extremely fine.)"
