This specimen was lot 3183 in Sincona sale 43 (Zurich, October 2017), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel, Herzogtum, Karl II. 1815-1830 5 Taler 1828. Braunschweig Divo/S. 58. Schl. 198. Fr-739. Selten. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. PCGS XF40. (duchy of Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel, Charles II, 1815-30, five thaler of 1828, Brunswick mint. Rare, Very fine-extremely fine.)"
KM 1110, 6.65 g, .900 fine gold, struck 1824-30-CvC. XF $1,200.
