This specimen was lot 3143 in Sincona sale 51 (Zurich, October 2018), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"Karl Theodor, 1777-1799. 1/2 Taler 1793, Amberg. 13.92 g. Wittelsbach 2403. Hahn 381. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. Gutes vorzüglich. Feine Patina. Minimal justiert. (Germany, electorate of Bavaria, Charles Theodore, 1777-99, half thaler of 1793, Amberg mint. Rare in this condition, Good extremely fine, Nice toning, Minor adjustment marks.)"
KM 624.1, silver, 35 mm diameter, rare, as well as KM 624.2. also KM 625/Dav-1962) thaler; KM 618, 20 kreuzer; all Amberg mint. half thalers pretty steady after 1753 but scarcer than the thalers.
