This specimen was lot 2734 in Sincona sale 43 (Zurich, October 2017), where it sold for 5,250 CHF (about US$6,265 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Franz Joseph I. 1848-1916 Gulden 1848 A. Wien Kopf nach links. 14.02 g. Herinek 431. Jaeckel 289. Sehr selten. Fast FDC. Prachtvolle Erhaltung mit herrlicher Patina. Kleine Kratzer. (empire of Austria, Francis Joseph I, 1848-1916, gulden of 1848, Vienna mint, head left. Very rare, About uncirculated. Beautiful condition with magnificent patina, Small scratches.)"
