This specimen was lot 1563 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €420 (about US$566 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Erzherzog Maximilian als Hochmeister des Deutschen Ordens, 1585-1590-1618. 1/2 Reichstaler 1614, Hall. M./T. 411 var.; Prokisch 67 A/a. Hübsche Patina, vorzüglich. (Holy Roman Empire, archduke Maximilian as Grandmaster of the Teutonic Order, 1585-1618, half thaler of 1614, Hall mint. Handsome patina, extremely fine.)"
