This specimen was lot 33838 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $336. The catalog description[1] noted, "Aragon. Pedro III gold Florin ND (1276-85) VF Details (Edge Filing) NGC, Fr-1. St. John the Baptist standing. This is an offering from Pedro el Grande, (The Great). Large lis on reverse."

Cayón-1858. struck in Perpignan for Pedro IV of Aragon, also Pedro III, count of Barcelona 1387-96. known with privy marks flower, head, crescent, cross, dagger, inverted triangle, "R", helmet (shown here). also struck at Zaragoza. fineness 18 K-23.75 K. also quarter and half florin.
