large size $10, date back

This specimen was lot 20367 in Heritage auction 3574 (Long Beach, CA, September 2019), where it sold for $2,040. The catalog description[1] noted,

"San Bernardino, CA - $10 1902 Date Back Fr. 618 The Farmers Exchange NB Ch. # (P)8618 PMG Very Fine 25. This is a very scarce San Bernardino bank which issued large size only during its brief existence from 1907 until 1924. To date, just seven notes are reported from here, only one of which has been publicly available in over a dozen years. This offering is one of the finer survivors and was last on the market in a 1991 Superior sale. It is a crisp mid-grade Date Back with bold stamped signatures and just a small pencilled number on the back. From the Norris Turner Collection."
