This specimen was lot 74678 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $85. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Penny, ND (1320-27). Canterbury Mint. Edward II. NGC VF-30. New coinage, class 15a. Obverse: Crowned facing bust; Reverse: Long cross pattee; triple pellets in quarters. A deeply toned and evenly circulated specimen, with some striking weakness as well."
