This specimen was lot 74670 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Penny, ND (1180-82). Oxford Mint; Robert, moneyer. Henry II. NGC AU-53. Short Cross type, class Ib. Obverse: Crowned head facing; scepter to left; Reverse: Voided short cross; quatrefoils in angles. Deeply toned and handsomely struck."
