This specimen was lot 34543 in Heritage sale 3067 (Long Beach, September 2018), where it sold for $720. The catalog description[1] noted, "Ottoman Empire. Abdul Hamid II Specimen Qirsh AH 1293 Year 29 (1903/04)-H SP67 PCGS, Misr mint (in Egypt). Struck from dies engraved in Birmingham. Fairly common in lower grades, the type is rarely if ever encountered this fine, especially so appealing with frosty devices and needle-sharp detail. From the Feeling Good Collection." This type was struck years 10 thru 33 along with a copper-nickel qirsh, which lacks the "H" mintmark. Both are common.
