This specimen was lot 76479 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2025), where it sold for $145. The catalog description[1] noted, "EGYPT. Ottoman Empire. 10 Para, AH 1277 Year 5 (1864/5). Cairo (Misr) Mint. Abdul Aziz. NGC MS-63." This type was struck years 2 thru 9. It competed with a bronze coin (KM 241) struck years 4-10. Forty para made a qirsh.
Recorded mintage: unknown but a better date.
Specification: 0.29-0.33 g, 0.833 fine silver, 14.4 mm diameter.
