This specimen was lot 76445 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2025), where it sold for $600. The catalog description[1] noted, "EGYPT. Ottoman Empire. 20 Para, AH 1255 Year 8 (1846/7). Cairo (Misr) Mint. Abdul Mejid. NGC MS-64." Forty para made a qirsh. This type was struck years 1-23.
Recorded mintage: unknown but a common date.
