The first specimen was lot 627 in Stephen Album sale 37 (Santa Rosa, CA, June 2020), where it sold for $333.20. The catalog description[1] noted, "EGYPT: Ahmed III, 1703-1730, AV eshrefi (sultani), Misr, AH1115, a few very light scratches on the reverse (barely visible without magnification), EF, ex Gamal Amer Collection. This coin was part of King Farouk's collection that was auctioned by the Egyptian Government of Gamal Abdul Nasser in 1954, in England (Sotheby's Auction House). Envelope in which the coin came indicates that." The second specimen was lot 629 in the same sale, where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "EGYPT: Ahmed III, 1703-1730, AV eshrefi (sultani), Misr, AH1115, without any initial letter, some weakness towards the edge, 1 flan crack from striking, EF to AU, ex Gamal Amer Collection, ex Spink Auction, 31 March 2005, Lot 347."

Specification: 3.50 g, gold, the first specimen 3.45 g, the second specimen 3.48 g.
